Based on early reports, we're expecting this device to be more Air 1 than 2—and this right here is why. The LCD and digitizer are unfused, and can be replaced separately. This is great news for repair.

Testing our newfound freedom, we take a second to swap in the digitizer and LCD from an Air 1. The connectors fit! We'll do some tests at a later date to let you know if they actually work...
