Anti-Clamp instructions

  • The next three steps demonstrate the Anti-Clamp, a tool we designed to make the opening procedure easier. If you aren't using the Anti-Clamp, skip down three steps for an alternate method.

  • For complete instructions on how to use the Anti-Clamp, check out this guide.

  • Pull the blue handle backwards to unlock the Anti-Clamp's arms.

  • Place an object under your Surface Book so it rests level between the suction cups.

  • Position the suction cups near the middle of the bottom edge—one on the front, and one on the back.

  • Hold the bottom of the Anti-Clamp steady and firmly press down on the top cup to apply suction.

  • If you find that the surface of your device is too slippery for the Anti-Clamp to hold onto, use tape to create a grippier surface.

Tirez la manivelle bleue pour déverrouiller les bras de l'Anti-Clamp.

Placez un objet sous votre Surface Book pour que ce dernier repose à plat entre les ventouses.

Positionnez les ventouses vers le milieu du bord inférieur (au niveau du port de la base clavier) - une ventouse dessus, l'autre dessous.

Maintenez le dessous de l'Anti-Clamp stable et pressez fermement sur la ventouse du dessus pour garantir qu'elle adhère bien.

Si vous trouvez que la surface de l'appareil est trop glissante pour le maintien de l'Anti-Clamp, utilisez de l'adhésif spécial pour faciliter l'adhérence.
