  • Using a wide pry tool, like this trim removal tool, go around the edge of the panel between it and the metal part of the door. You will find it held in place by plastic clips. Gently pry each clip out all the way around.

  • On an older car like the W123, there will likely be some broken clips. Some times, panels are being held in place by only two or three clips.

  • Be aware that even though there should be no screws holding the panel to the door at this point, you will want to carefully check that someone didn't use a screw in the past to make up for broken clips. If you try and pull it off without removing the screw, you could damage your panel.

À l'aide d'un outil à levier large, comme cet outil de retrait de garniture, faites le tour du bord du panneau entre celui-ci et la partie métallique de la porte. Vous le trouverez maintenu en place par des clips en plastique. Retirez délicatement chaque clip tout autour.

Sur une voiture plus ancienne comme la W123, il y aura probablement des clips cassés. Parfois, les panneaux sont maintenus en place par seulement deux ou trois clips.

Sachez que même s'il ne devrait pas y avoir de vis maintenant le panneau sur la porte, vous devrez vérifier soigneusement que personne n'a utilisé de vis dans le passé pour compenser les clips cassés. Si vous essayez de le retirer sans retirer la vis, vous risquez d'endommager votre panneau.
