Assess the damage

  • Open the zipper at the base of the bag, then open the zipper in the compartment liner to expose the handle mechanisms.

  • All metal bars should be straight and plastic housings should be intact. Replacing the handle won't work if the metal bars or handle housings are damaged or bent.

  • If there is a possibility that the handle is sticking but not damaged, try lubricating it first.

Évaluer les dégâts

Ouvrez la fermeture éclair à la base du sac, puis la fermeture éclair de la doublure du compartiment pour accéder au mécanisme de la poignée.

Toutes les barres métalliques doivent être droites et les boîtiers en plastique intacts. Changer la la poignée ne fonctionnera pas si les barres métalliques ou le boîtier de la poignée sont cassés ou déformés.

S'il est possible que la poignée soit coincée mais pas cassée, essayez d'abord de la lubrifier.
