Flashing from Windows

  • On Windows, the setup process is a bit easier and a bit more reliable. First, download and install the latest Zadig tool , and grab the latest Bundled Installers from thingify, and decompress them in the same folder that you've saved Zadig to.

  • Launch Zadig and click on Options, List all devices, and choose GX Chip. You are then going to click Edit, and rename your device WorldCup Device with the same spelling and case.

  • Click the down arrow so that the text field next to the More Information box reads libusb-win32 (v1.4.0.0) and click Reinstall Driver.

  • Your device should appear in device manager.

  • Once the driver is installed, open the windows-bundle folder and click on flash.bat

Von Windows aus ist das Einrichten etwas einfacher und zuverlässiger. Hole dir zuerst das neueste Zadig Tool und installiere es. Hole das neueste Installerbündel von Thingify. Entpacke es in das gleiche Verzeichnis wo auch Zadig ist.

Starte Zadig und klicke auf Options, List all devices und wähle GX Chip. Klicke anschließend auf Edit, und nenne dein Gerät um in WorldCup Device. Beachte die genaue Schreibweise mit Groß- und Kleinbuchstaben.

Klicke auf den Pfeil nach unten, so dass bei den weiteren Informationen libusb-win32 (v1.4.0.0) erscheint. Klicke auf Reinstall Driver.

Nun sollte dein Gerät im Gerätemanager erscheinen.

Nachdem der Treiber installiert ist, öffne das windows-bundle Verzeichnis und klicke auf flash.bat.
