  • Lift up the display cable and peel off any remaining coating holding it to the motherboard.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the head of the cable and the ZIF connectors for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating—heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in the connector.

Til de schermkabel omhoog en verwijder alle resten van de coating die de kabel op het moederbord vasthouden.

Bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Controleer je de aansluiting en de ZIF-contacten op resten van de coating die een goede aansluiting in de weg zouden kunnen zitten.

Verwijder je de resten van de coating. Verwarm de coating als deze te broos is om in grotere stukken te kunnen verwijderen.

Het hoeft er allemaal niet mooi uit te zien! Zorg ervoor dat je voldoende van de coating verwijdert zodat de coating de aansluiting of het contact niet in de weg zit.
