Loosen remaining adhesive

  • There are thick patches of adhesive around the corners of the screen that need to be further softened before you can remove the screen.

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the screen for 2 minutes to loosen the adhesive.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the phone—the display and internal battery are both susceptible to heat damage.

  • Lift the screen off of the frame until it separates from the thicker adhesive patches. Don‘t try to separate the screen completely before the display cable is freed in the next step.

  • If the screen is still stuck to the frame, slide an opening pick around the entire perimeter until the screen separates completely.

Allenta l'adesivo rimanente

Ci sono spessi pezzi di adesivo intorno gli angoli dello schermo che devono essere ammorbiditi bene prima di rimuovere lo schermo.

Prepara un iOpener e applicalo sullo schermo per 2 minuti per allentare l'adesivo.

Puoi anche usare un asciugacapelli, una pistola termica, o una piastra termica, ma fai attenzione a non riscaldare troppo il telefono: lo schermo e la batteria interna sono suscettibili ai danni da calore.

Solleva lo schermo dal telaio fino a che non si separa dai pezzi di adesivo più spessi. Non separare lo schermo completamente prima che il cavo del display sia liberato nel prossimo passo.

Se lo schermo è ancora attaccato al telaio, fai scivolare un plettro di apertura intorno a tutto il perimetro fino a che lo schermo non si separa completamente.
