Remove the wheel wells and springs

  • This section is required to repair the wheel motors or beater bar motor. It can (and should) be skipped in most other repairs.

  • Remove the 4 silver 10mm screws on each wheel well.

  • Many wires are routed around the sides and top of these wheel wells. Take care not to pull or damage these wires when uninstalling the wheel wells.

  • The wheel wells have the traction springs inside of them, so you will hear a snap as you remove the final screws.

  • Do not errantly remove or adjust the black spring retention screw.

Entferne die Radkästen und die Federn

Dieser Schritt ist nötig, um die Motoren der Räder oder den Gummiwalzenmotor auszutauschen. Er kann (und sollte) in den meisten anderen Reparaturen übersprungen werden.

Löse die 4 silbernen 10-mm-Schrauben an jedem Radkasten.

Viele Kabel verlaufen neben oder über diesen Radkästen. Passe auf, dass du nicht an den Kabeln ziehst oder sie beschädigst, während du die Radkästen ausbaust.

In den Radkästen befinden sich Zugfedern, welche dafür sorgen, dass du beim Lösen der letzten Schrauben ein Knacken hören solltest.

Löse oder verstelle die schwarze Federhalteschraube nicht aus Versehen.
