  • after unscrewing the cover you will see three fastened connectors: two parallel - it's digitizer and one perpendicular - it's a matrix. Unclip the connectors and remove the matrix. If it is damaged, as in my case, it should be utilized of. If it works and you're not going to replace it, make sure you put it away in a safe place.

  • caution - do not touch the display surface (black). Fingerprints are very difficult to remove.

  • a few more wires and one flat strip remain connected. Unless you're going to remove the motherboard (I don't see a need to do so in this case) you don't need to worry about it. Only the flat tape remains important - it's a tape of Home button and the Touch.ID function

Entfernen eines beschädigten Bildschirms und des Displays - Schritt 5

Nachdem du die Abdeckung abgeschraubt hast, siehst du drei Anschlüsse: zwei parallele (Touchscreen) und einen senkrechten (eine Matrix). Löse die Anschlüsse und entferne die Matrix. Wenn sie, wie bei mir, beschädigt ist, sollte sie entsorgt werden. Wenn sie funktioniert und nicht ersetzt werden soll, verwahre sie an einem sicheren Ort.

Vorsicht - berühre die (schwarze) Oberfläche des Displays nicht. Fingerabdrücke sind nur schwer zu entfernen.

Ein paar weitere Drähte und ein Flachbandkabel bleiben angeschlossen. Solange man die Hauptplatine nicht ausbaut (was ich in diesem Fall nicht für nötig halte), braucht man sich darum nicht zu kümmern. Nur das Flachbandkabel bleibt wichtig - es handelt sich hierbei um das Flachbandkabel des Home Buttons und der Touch ID Funktion.
