Replacing the Battery

  • Further disassembly is not required and if you're confident in your ability to solder the battery wiring quickly I'd actually recommend against further disassembly. As you can see, I tore the flex cable connecting the LED Indicator section of the flex to the charging pins inside the top half of the housing.

  • Desolder the Black, White, and Red wires that connect the battery to the LED Indicator flex cable. Then clean the pads with some desoldering braid (gently so that you don't remove insulator from the flex) and reverse the process with your new battery. Black to B-, White to N, Red to B+.

  • Once your new battery is installed make sure to test it by attaching a power source to the USB-C Charging Port at the bottom of the housing. Watch for the LED Indicator status light to pulse Orange.

Reemplazando la batería

No es necesario desarmar más la batería y, si confías en tu capacidad para soldar el cableado de la batería rápidamente, te recomiendo que no lo desarmes más. Como puedes ver, rompí el cable flexible que conecta la sección del indicador LED del cable flexible a los pines de carga dentro de la mitad superior de la carcasa.

Desuelda los cables negro, blanco y rojo que conectan la batería al cable flexible del indicador LED. Luego, limpia las almohadillas con un poco de trenza desoldadora (con cuidado para no quitar el aislante del cable flexible) e invierte el proceso con la batería nueva. Negro a B-, blanco a N, rojo a B+.

Una vez instalada la nueva batería, asegúrate de probarla conectando una fuente de alimentación al puerto de carga USB-C en la parte inferior de la carcasa. Estate atento a que la luz de estado del indicador LED parpadee en color naranja.
