    For optimal performance, after completing this guide, [[Battery Calibration|calibrate]] your newly installed battery: Charge it to 100% and keep charging it for at least two more hours. Then use your iPhone until it shuts off due to low battery. Finally, charge it uninterrupted to 100%.
      Compare your new replacement part to the original part—you may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before installing.

      Je kunt er ook nog voor kiezen om de onderkant van de telefoon ietwat omhoog te tillen en wat druppels hoog geconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol (>90%) onder de batterij toe te dienen. Wacht vervolgens een minuutje zodat de alcohol in de lijm kan trekken en deze kan verzwakken.

      Pak de treklip van de kleefstrip rechtsonderin de batterij vast en trek deze langzaam richting de onderkant van de iPhone en van de batterij weg.

      Pak de kleefstrip linksonderin de batterij met je vingers vast en trek deze richting de onderkant van de iPhone en van de batterij weg.

      Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om de kleefstrips om de uiteinden van het pincet heen te wikkelen. Dit maakt het wat makkelijker om de kleefstrip onder de batterij vandaan te trekken.

      Leg twee van je vingers lichtjes op het midden van de batterij om te voorkomend dat deze uit het toestel wegvliegt bij het verwijderen van de laatste kleefstrip.

      Als je moeite hebt om de batterij in z'n geheel te verwijderen, kun je wat druppels hoog geconcentreerde isopropyl alcohol (>90%) in de buurt van de afgebroken kleefstrip onder de rand van de batterij toedienen.
