  • If your display glass is cracked, keep further breakage contained and prevent bodily harm during your repair by taping the glass.

  • Lay overlapping strips of clear packing tape over the iPad's display until the whole face is covered.

  • This will keep glass shards contained and provide structural integrity when prying and lifting the display.

  • Do your best to follow the rest of the guide as described. However, once the glass is broken, it will likely continue to crack as you work, and you may need to use a metal prying tool to scoop the glass out.

  • If tape isn't working, it is okay. Tape doesn't always work for us either. Instead, you will need some patience, and knowledge of where cables are. You will need to crack the glass yourself and essentially tear the digitizer apart. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE HOME BUTTON, HOME BUTTON CABLES, LCD PANEL, OR DIGITIZER CABLES.

  • Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes, and be careful not to damage the LCD screen or any flex cables.

Halte dich so genau wie möglich an die Anleitung. Trotzdem kann das Glas während der Arbeit weiter brechen. Entferne die Bruchstücke mit einem geeigneten Metallwerkzeug.

Wenn es mit Klebeband nicht funktioniert, ist es auch nicht weiter schlimm. Dann brauchst du etwas Geduld und du musst wissen, wo die Kabel verbaut sind. Du musst das Glas dann brechen und das Display im Wesentlichen entfernen. SEI VORSICHTIG UND BESCHÄDIGT NICHT DEN HOME BUTTON, DIE HOME BUTTON KABEL, DAS LCD PANEL ODER DIE DIGITIZER KABEL.

Trage eine Schutzbrille, um deine Augen zu schützen. Sei vorsichtig und beschädige nicht das LCD oder irgendwelche Flachbandkabel.
