  • We equip ourselves with the Precision Bit Driver and a Phillips bit from our Mako Driver Set, which is (spoiler alert) the only bit we need until the end of this teardown. For that, we're pleased.

  • Next out is the wireless charging coil attached to the motherboard cover, which also carries some antennas and a strange orange flex cable to bridge two contacts—what for, we're not sure.

  • This charging coil not only charges the phone, but also works in reverse to charge your mouse, electrical razor, or toothbrush—no kidding.

  • It seems that for 2019, reverse charging is becoming standard equipment on flagship phones.

Wir holen uns den Präzisions-Bithalter und einen Kreuzschlitz-Bit aus unserem Mako Driver Set und (Achtung Spoiler) das ist das einzige Bit, das wir bis zum Ende dieses Teardowns brauchen. Das ist doch schon mal was.

Als nächstes entfernen wir die drahtlose Ladespule. Sie ist an der Abdeckung vom Motherboard befestigt, wo sich auch einige Antennen und ein seltsames orangefarbenes Flachbandkabel zur Überbrückung von zwei Kontakten befinden. Wir sind uns noch nicht so ganz sicher, wofür die sind.

Diese Ladespule lädt nicht nur das Smartphone, sondern funktioniert auch umgekehrt. Kein Witz: Du kannst damit deine Maus, deinen Rasierapparat oder deine Zahnbürste aufladen.

Es sieht ganz so aus, als ob die Umkehrladung 2019 zur Standardausrüstung von Flaggschiff-Smartphones gehören wird.
