  • 1 × Extra ink cartridges—ONLY NEEDED in two situations: You have "risky" ink (i.e. reman with a OEM "depleted" HP chip, chip not replaced), "economy" (read: Non-XL) ink carts prone to being consumed quickly.
  • 1 × Shop Towels, Can be substituted with paper towels, but will leave lint behind—Typically available at hardware stores and auto part stores.
  • 1 × Distilled Water, Printhead cleaning
  • 1 × Source of heat—While a coffee maker was used at the time, this is no longer recommend this﹣use an electric kettle with distilled water.
  • 1 × Small bowl—Single use containers preferred as the bowl will likely be permanently stained!
  • 1 × High Content Rubbing Alcohol, ONLY USE THIS ON DIFFICULT CLOGS OR SURFACE CLEANING.—Also available for purchase in most drug stores
  • 1 × Alcohol wipes, Can be substituted with high percentage isopropyl alcohol and a napkin or shop towel—Also available for purchase in most drug stores
