The standard hard disk drive that comes with this laptop model should have a ribbon attached to it. Pull this ribbon back until the hard drive comes out of the socket.

If your drive doesn’t have this ribbon, it can be pushed out of place by wedging a plastic opening tool in between the drive and its socket and push it out.
