Using the iFix it opening tool, pry battery apart from back side of tablet.

The battery is connected to the back side by a strong adhesive.

The battery may bend during this process.

Be careful not to allow the battery to bend any more than necessary. Battery acid leakage is possible.

Be careful not to damage the wires or the black tab attached to the battery.
