Disconnect the fan connector from the motherboard.

Remove the three 4 mm screws that secure the heatsink with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the heatsink carefully and set aside.

Do not strip the screws.

Do not bend the pins in the fan connector port.

You will need to reapply thermal paste before replacing the heatsink.
