Unscrew the five M2x6mm Phillips #00 screws holding the intermediate barrel in place.

Pull the intermediate barrel up and off of the lens.

Be careful of the 2 ribbon cables inside of the intermediate barrel as you pull it off of the lens. Do not let them snag on anything.

Set aside the front portion of the lens (that you removed the intermediate barrel from).
