With the midframe beside the phone, use an Opening Pick or Spudger to disconnect the power button from the motherboard.

When reassembling, this is a good time to test the phone before screwing the midframe back on and sealing it back up. If there are any issues with the new screen or the repair process, it is easiest to find them now.
