Carefully reinstall the metal plate in place. Make sure the arch is snug in place by pushing on it from the top with the flat head, gently and slowly until it clicks in place.

You will be swapping the left metal plate(malfunctioning) to the right, as it would not be overused allowing it to live longer. The one that was bent in the previous step should be placed into the right clicker.
