Pry up the battery until you can grab it with your fingers.

If the battery still feels stuck, twist and pry the two halves of the first plastic card to help separate the remaining adhesive.

Be careful not to pry up the larger section of the battery much farther than the smaller section, as the pouch may rip at the seam.
