Place the console down. Use a spudger to gently pry open the left side of the console while lifting the right side with your hands.

The cover will come loose with a pop.

The top cover may not immediately be loose, and this will be most noticeable with its left side. Do not immediately try to pry off the cover. Doing so may damage the casing.
