Go to the front of the scooter, where the charging port and lights are.

Using a knife or prying tool, scrape the black, gooey sealant out from around the front part of the scooter.

This is used to water proof the scooter, so you will need to replace it with another kind of sealant after you finish disassembling the scooter.
