Place ONLY the lace frontal portion of the unit into the soap water.

Allow it to soak for about 10-15 minutes.

After 10-15 minutes of soaking, there should be a distinct area where the adhesive residue is cleaned.

It will show up as a much lighter color and that indicates this is the residue that needs to be cleaned out of the lace.
