The display may have lightly readhered to the frame during the last few steps. If it has, use an opening pick to detach the display from the frame before continuing.

Before removing the display, make sure that the display's ribbon cable is completely detached from the adhesive on the midframe.

Gently pull up on the display and thread the ribbon cable through the hole in midframe to remove the display.
