The screen is partially attached to the motherboard with adhesive, so gently slide the tweezers underneath the entire screen to detach it, then lift it up.

The screen is made out of thin glass, so make sure not to be too rough.

After this step, the screen should still be connected to the motherboard through a small black hinge. This piece should NOT be removed/cut.
