Insert an opening pick in between the display and the display frame on the battery side.

Twist the pick to pry apart the display and the frame.

If any part of the display stays stuck, apply more heat and try to cut any remaining adhesive in that area.

Do not remove the display at this point. The display cable is still threaded through the display frame.
