Introduction |
If your HP B210a has a clogged printhead, this guide will '''potentially''' resolve the problem and get the printer working again. I do not gauranteeguarantee this will fix your printer, but if the printer is already doing this it's at least worth trying before you recycle the printer or resort to more drastic measures.
This guide is primarily made for the HP B210a first, but can also be used on similar HP 564 printers. You may haveNewer printers that use the HP 564 ink tanks will probably need to disassemble other models further,be partially disassembled but if youthe core cleaning technique can figure out how to do it then you can probably apply the cleaning teachnique to your particular printer and printhead mounting designbe carried over. It4 or 5 color also does not matter if.
On models I have not personally tested, I cannot guarantee the printer is 4 or 5 color; the technique worksbypass will work on both variations of this printhead. The only thing that may not carry is the initalization bypass I use in this guide. HP has likely learned from this and has changed how the settings are stored in some models rendering this approach useless. You may need to use a different method depending on theyour particular model of printer.
