Introduction |
This guide is primarily meant to help users of Hewlett-Packard and Canon inkjet printers. The print heads on some of these printers can be removed from the printer. Most HP permanent print head units can be removed, along with Canon. Kodak print heads are also easy to remove too, so this may also help Kodak owners. After removal, the print head can then be soaked in water. This may not be possible with all permanent printhead printers, such as Epson printers. | | I would also like to mention as the original author this will '''not''' unclog every case of clogged printheads-if this doesn't work and the ink is confirmed good, the printhead is damaged, and you will need to replace the printhead, which is 50.00 online last I checked, so this method is worth trying due to the cost of a new printhead. | | '''This guide is being improved. If you see steps without pictures, they are being added for future improvement.''' |
