Is the gasket supposed to be loose or glued in place?
His Step 3 is to "Reverse the process" which is NOT helpful at all. I think I would need about 4 hands to keep the gasket in the groove while turning the base to complete the circle. This was not usefull!

The Blade is very tight and doesn’t rotate with hands when i tried. How to fix it
