Follow this guide to open your Logitech M240 wireless mouse.
Opening your mouse gives you access to clean its internals, troubleshoot mechanical problems, or replace a part.

Before starting, flip the power switch on the bottom of your mouse to the left, so it's in the OFF position.

Press down on the battery cover with your thumb and slide it away from the mouse to unclip it.

Remove the battery cover.

Use your fingers to lift the end of the battery and slide it out of its recess.

Use a pair of tweezers to slowly peel up and remove the sticker from the battery recess.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 5.5 mm‑long screw from the battery recess.

Hold the bottom half of the mouse steady and pull the top half away and down to separate it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
