• First switch off the coffee machine and unplug it.
• Now slide the spudger/screwdriver between the plastic cap and the cover and gently pry in the direction of the coffee machine. This pushes the cover over the barb.
• Grab the cover by the sides and pull it up. This is often very difficult, so pull it hard but not excessively.

• Tilt the spout forward and lift it upward.
• Pull off the hose and the outlet is free.
• When assembling, note that the sleeve can get caught on the spout. Therefore, press the spout in when pushing the sleeve down.
