Identification
Identifying exactly which Mac you own can sometimes be a challenge. Variations of MacBooks, MacBook Pros, PowerBooks, iBooks, iMacs, Mac Pros, or Mac Minis have the tendency to look similar but may have different internal hardware. If your Mac is a laptop you can identify the type by the writing below the screen and you can find the model located on the bottom of the device. You will need to look around the device to find the model number on a Mac desktop.
