Background
FAO Schwarz the oldest toy store in the United States, was founded in 1862 by Frederick August Otto Schwarz. Located in New York City, the company is known for its high-end toys like the remote control car Apex 1.
The Apex 1, also known as the Classic Racer, was specifically designed to drive fast over a variety of surfaces with its aerodynamic shape and shock absorbing wheels. The Apex 1 is powered by a rechargeable battery. The multi-directional remote control, which uses 2.4 GHz wireless frequencies, allows for precise turns and wide drifting.
Identification
The toy car has a red and black plastic body with “01” printed along the top of one side and “Apex 1” printed down the center of the top of the car. It has black tires, and the remote control is also made of black plastic.
