Edifier W820NB Plus Repair

Edifier is a company specializing in headphones/earbuds, speakers, as well as miscellaneous gaming devices. Specifically, their models of headphones range from the W80 and W800 series to their Stax Sprit series.

The W820NB Plus sets itself apart with wireless connectivity, and an option to be used wired, as well as an optional noise cancellation mode, able to last for almost 33 hours with it on and up to 50 hours without noise cancellation.

The W820NB Plus was the successor to the previous model, WH700NB. Unlike the WH700NB, the W820NB Plus has better noise cancelation. However, the WH700NB model has richer sound, better build quality, and longer battery life.

The W820NB Plus was released in May 2023, as one of Edifier’s line of over the ear headphones. They cost $79.99 / £79.99 / AU$80.99. Currently it can be bought on Amazon.

The Edifier W820NB Plus can be identified by the location of the name of the company (Edifier) residing on the side just above the drivers, unlike similar models that will only have the three-line logo Edifier has. Unlike the models that also have the name on the side the W820NB will not have an S-looking logo on the outside of the drivers (which the Stax Spirit S3 has) the logo centered on the side (which the W800BT SE has) and is entirely smooth on the outside of the drivers (unlike the ES850NB)
