I know on a 2011 Forte we had (junked, oil consumption and a wreck from someone w/o insurance) it was under the engine bay - the big connector was the ECU wire. It's probably in a similar location - look for a big wire with a latch and gasketing.
Other sources say it's behind the dash on the passenger side: https://www.fixya.com/cars/t5114005-ecu_... -- however, my findings (albeit limited) seem to point towards the driver side. The info available for this one is really that limited :-(. It's going to be big with 3 blocks on one wire. The TCM is the smaller of the two.
The good thing is this predates their rush to lock down the service manuals before RtR forced them to make them available: https://www.allcarmanuals.com/factory-se... -- the downside? This era of manual is unusable without prior knowledge of the parts location.

@nick check on the driver side, under the dash just above the OBD connector. I think that is where the ECM should be located on the Tucson
@oldturkey03 Reading the SM now to fully verify the location. But yeah, Hyundai moved it a lot.

@oldturkey03 I'm just glad I could find the SM - seems like anything 2016+ is a gamble, but 2015 and older are thoroughly leaked so badly nothing can be done. It's in the EC manual for this, but they don't mention the location on the ones I found.
