Why does it say Wi-Fi not connected contact Epson support

It could be a bad card, unless the error is related to a connection failure, because the router and printer do not agree - I know Brother does a similar thing, where once the card has an issue, they disable the WiFi rather than the whole printer. Seems like HP is the only one who kills the printer over a bad card. It's a rare enough failure you almost always never see it (and as such it's usually hardware) but you can try to reset the network settings -- just take note if you have an static IP set on the printer, you may need to reserve it on the router before doing this or ue DHCP and set the replacement as static, especially if a device steals it. The toggle is in Setup under Restore default settings. Make sure to select Network settings; you do not want to reset the whole printer. If at any point you see Error 202620, the card is bad, and it's 100% hardware.

If that doesn't work, the card is bad. Use an Ethernet cable (Epson hasn't cut corners there, like HP has infamously done) -- Cat6 will be plenty, even a basic big box cable from Walmart or Best Buy. I would spin my own from a spool of Ethernet cable so I can pick the length and cushion I want, but most people do not have the means to do that. Get one that's ~2-3ft longer than you actually need. You do not want a 50ft cable where a 28-30ft cable will suffice, as it will slow you down. Long Cat7 and Cat8 is fine but Cat6 should be run to length with breathing room for mounting and equipment movement. The problem is outside of shipping the card from China, everyone sells it attached to the printer board in the US.
