Why is the lens stuck out and making weird noises?

I turned on my camera and the orange light flashed and the screen didn’t turn on. The lens came out but kept making weird noises, like a bunch of fast clicking sounds. The lens is stuck out and when ever I try to turn it on it does the same thing. I’ve tried to replace the batteries and nothings working, what do I do?

@maxverstappen sounds like a stuck lens. That is one of the most common errors with any digital camera. Take a look on here for some ideas on how to possibly fix it. Due to a lack of internal parts, most of the time, the only thing to do is to replace the lens. Use this guide Olympus FE-210 Lens Assembly Replacement to work on it
