Nintendo's upgraded version of the Nintendo 3DS. It features bigger screens, longer battery life, better pixel density, and a better design.

How to change the 3DS XL Shell

A while ago, my 3DS XL got a small crack on the shell, which affected the R button and made the screen loose. However, I still have the shell of another 3DS XL, whose internal circuits were damaged years ago by my nephew. Would it be possible to replace the shell at home? The repair cost in my area is very high, even if I provide the parts myself.

Hey,

Great question, ifixit actually has guides for heaps of different repairs on a variety of devices. I believe the guide I've found should be able to assist you. Replacing the outer casing can be done at home.

Here is the link to the guide here on ifixit's website.
