Broken hinge on Inspiron 7415 2-in-1

In what seems to me like regular usage, one of the screen hinges has broken off where it connects on the outside.

Any hints on how to repair this? If not replacing parts, at least getting it back together with some adhesive would be ok if there are diagrams of what it' supposed to look like.

Hi @claytonhughes

Here's the service manual for the laptop.

Go to p.39 to view the procedure to remove the display assembly.

This will give you access to where the hinges are screwed onto the base.assembly.

If the hinge mounts are damaged you could try gluing the hinges down with a suitable metal/plastic adhesive otherwise you may have to replace the base.

The manual doesn't describe how to remove the LCD back cover so that you can check the hinge mounts there but here's a video that shows what to do.
