Go to p.39 to view the procedure to remove the display assembly.
This will give you access to where the hinges are screwed onto the base.assembly.
If the hinge mounts are damaged you could try gluing the hinges down with a suitable metal/plastic adhesive otherwise you may have to replace the base.
The manual doesn't describe how to remove the LCD back cover so that you can check the hinge mounts there but here's a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpxPZ-kpD5E|video] that shows what to do.
