Hi @jays50728
Here's the service data sheet for the washer.
To try and isolate the problem further, go to p.3 to view the procedure for Recalling last error code and check if any codes are being shown especially any in the range 55→5F.
If you find the problem and it's a faulty part that needs replacing, here's a parts list that is useful.
Locate the wanted part in the list and note the manufacturer's part number, that is shown for the part. Search online for the manufacturer's part number only, to find suppliers that suits you best.
Sometimes if you're lucky if you search on YouTube for (insert wanted part number) replacement, there may be videos that show how to remove/replace the part.

Hi @jays50728
What is the model number of the washer?
Does it do this on all spin speeds?

Sounds like a bearing is on the way out to be honest. Removing the top cover and running it on a spin might help in locating which one.

@jayeff It's an ELFW7637AT1 and yes it does it on all speeds but changes pitch as the speed increases.

My parents had a washer that started squealing, our hard water had congealed on the rubber bearing seal. The excess of hard water and the drying out caused squealing. But it could be a bearing like Ted mentioned, it may just need lubricant on the bearings. Your instruction manual should have a maintenance section &/or troubleshooting portion.
