Laptop BIOS Issue: CMOS 500 or 502 error
Hello, I am having a bit of computer issues where my laptop will crash or turnoff completely within the span of 10 - 15 minutes if its not chraged for long. Whenever I turnit back on I've been warned of an issue of CMOS Reset(502)or CheckSum(500) poping up. I've ran several system extensive test and found that there is a primary failure with the battery check & charging port. So far its stated that its just a general power issue but I'm concerned that there may be another underlying issue that could affect the hardware/software. Will replacing the battery fix the general power issue all together and if so what battery would be a good to buy a battery for the Hp Spectre x360 Convertible 15 - df0013dx series. And if say the battery is replaced and the issue continues would it best to say its a hardware issue with the motherboard
I don't know if this helps but here is a picture of the back panel on my laptop removed. And something that I've noticed is that one side of the battery looks swollen to some degree or uneven that when I tried to put the back panel back on it became diffcult to put it on properly. Does that mean the battery is dmaged or punctured.
