Nintendo's first 3DS handheld device released February 2011, identified by model number CTR-001.

Modded 3ds black screen and blue light when turn on.

My modded 3ds was working fine but lately I haven't touched my 3ds. When I turn it on, there's just a black screen and blue light. When I take the SD card out and turn it on, the luma configuration screen comes up.

The last time I picked up my 3ds (without touching it for a long time) the same thing happened but I rebooted it by pressing the L+R and up for the touch pad and was working fine from that point on. Now, the same technique doesn't work.

I've already updated the 3ds firm and boot file to the latest version but there's still no difference. Is the SD card the problem?

@darthmango, can you take a look at this?

Thanks!

I doubt it's the SD card. Are you able to access the Rosalina menu from the black screen? If so, this is most likely just RTCBug, and you can follow the steps here.

Otherwise, take the SD back out, press START to reboot from luma config, and let's see what happens

Hii, the screen has turned on now since I updated 2 files (the 3ds and boot firm one). Now none of my mods seem to be there like before. All my games that I downloaded from hshop isn't there as well as the other titles like homebrew and univeral updater. Is there any way to get all these things back?

@ripple63060 That's odd, but not alarming. Download faketik (https://github.com/ihaveamac/faketik/rel...) and pop it in /3ds .

To run it, open download play, then open Rosalina and select Miscellaneous options -> Switch the hb. title to the current app.

Return to the HOME menu, close dlp, and reopen it. That should load HBL

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

That doesn't work either. I put the faketik in 3ds folder and did everything you said but it's still the same. Am I doing something wrong?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Huh. Just to be sure, you did actually run the faketik script, right?

Assuming that's not it, check title manager in gm9 and see if the missing apps are still listed

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

How do I run the faketit script? I thought you just put it in the 3ds folder. The missing titles are listed in gm9 (under the 04000 section) but it doesn't give me an option to get them back or anything.
