Is the power button stuck in the pressed position or the unpressed position? Can you add a photo to this question? No matter the case, either something sticky got on the power button and is causing it to stay locked in place, or something in the button is broken. If something sticky is causing the button not to move, try using some isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip and rubbing it against the power button.

In the more likely and unfortunate case that something around the power button is broken in the phone, I would recommend just taking it to a repair shop. My reasoning for this is that iPhones are, first of all, kind of difficult to open. They also have a special paste around the outer edge inside the phone that makes it water resistant, which would need replacing after opening. You're free to open it if you want, but it will be more dangerous.
