@sir_dm a continuous beep is common with BIOS issues. Start off with the easy things. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from your computer. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. Now hold the power button depressed for about 30sec-1min. Reapply the AC power adapter and see if your computer does show any sign of life. You could also try to disconnect the battery.
Most common issue are drive and it is also possible that this is a bad RAM module or a bad LCD. So remove the RAM, clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. Do it gentle so as to not destroy the module. Replace it and restart. If you have more than one module, remove it and just leave one connected.
As you turn your computer back on tap the F10 key. This should load the BIOS setup utility.
Press F9 to load defaults.
Press F10 to save and exit.
Let us know what you find out.

Beep sounds usually come in a repeating sequence, try counting them; there's usually a slightly longer gap between groups. At some point you'll find they're repeating, and that's when you have the "beep code" that can be looked up for troubleshooting. As an example, you might find they're repeating in a pattern like 5-3-4-1 or something similar.
