Everytime I set off in my Mercedes C220 (2011-2012) the ABS light turns on and it stops working and I don't know why??

I'm not familiar with your car specifically, but Nick is definitely correct in that you need to get the car scanned; here in the USA most auto parts stores will hook up their scanner for free. It's worth a try, although there's an even chance it may be manufacturer specific and could require a more advanced scanner.
That being said, one of the more common issues with ABS systems would be the wheel speed sensors. Being located on the wheels, they're subject to harsh environment and damage so it's entirely within the realm of possibility for either the sensor or the wiring to get damaged, so that's what I'd be looking at first, although again, a scan will point you in the right direction, whether that's the wheel speed sensors or not.

It's German and they likle to lock a lot of their codes under OE codes for things like this, rather then P codes - one of my mentors had them, my god they are a pain to scan with basic scanners. You need a proper all system like an Xtool like the one I bought for a little under $300. It lacks the bi control option on the higher end. If I was going to buy a highly depreciated Mercedes (even Audi or BMW; this includes any Jag) from 3-4 years ago when everyone dumps them from their lease, I'd want to do the work on that thing to save on costs and a high end scanner which is all system, maybe even I'd finally buy one with bidirectional control.
I'm comfortable taking a shot at it on Japanese cars and to an extent Kia/Hyundai, but the amount of complexity Germany is known for... No thanks, codes pls. Do not guess with German cars. They drive like nothing else for the money but they depreciate like they do for a REASON... Parts, labor and specialists needed to work on them. Learn how to repair them yourself.

do you have any codes? If not, get a good all system scanner or take it somewhere for a scan.
