Why isn’t my robot working
Robot stopped working. I replaced the wheel tyres. Should I buy a new battery?

@janelynch29757 it will help if we know how many times it does beep. It is possible that this is a bad battery but it is also possible that this is related to the motors. Have you had a chance to open it up and to clean it out. You'd be surprised how much dusty and dirt can build up on the inside. Try something like this guide Remove the iRobot Braava Jet 240 Motherboard Case and see if there is a lot of debris/dirt in on the motherboard etc.
To proceed, I'd clean it well and replace the battery (just because of age. Then re-evaluate.

@chantaclare we will need to know what your iRobot is doing and what it is "telling" you. How come you replaced the wheels and what makes you think you need a new battery.

If you elaborate on the problem description and circumstances this happened, chances are better you get an answer.

Thank you for your answers. I've had the Braava Jet for nearly 7 years and it suddenly stopped working. When I press its on button it bleeps, tries to move and then gives up. I replaced the wheel tyres because the tread on one of the wheels was worn down & I thought that was the reason it wasn't moving. But that didn't make any difference. So the only other thing I thought might be the problem is that the battery might not be fully charging as it's nearly 7 years old.
