@albert30780 without seeing it and only going by your description, this sounds like a bad screen. You can post some pictures of what your screen shows, with your Question. That way we can most certainly verify that you have a bad screen. Adding images to an existing question
Most likely a replacement will fix this issue. Use something like this guide Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Screen Replacement to replace the screen.
