What is the WiFi frequency band used by your home WiFi network, 2.4GHz, 5GHz or both?

If it is 5GHz then the laptop won't detect it as it only works on the 2.4GHz band.

If the home network is 2.4GHz, try using the laptop's WiFi as close as possible to the home network router i.e. <15cm and check if it detects, connects and maintains a stable connection or not.

If it does then it may be an antenna problem in the laptop.

Here's the service manual for the laptop. Go to p.19 to view the procedure to remove the wireless card. This will allow you to check if the two WiFi antennas are securely connected to the card.

If it doesn't, what is the status of the WLAN adapter in Device Manager? If the OS is Win10 (or Win11) press the Win key + x key (both together) and then select the Device manager link, that appears in the options box that opens. When in Device Manager scroll down to Network Adapters (click to expand the list) and then right click on the Intel wireless adapter entry > Properties > and check what is shows in the Device status box in the General tab
